SUPERKICKS

Our founder, Grand Master Terry Gore began his training in 1985 when he was 19 years old under the guidance of Grand Master Gene Lewis, who is also his uncle.

 

Terry started his first karate school in Loris, SC in May of 1990. He then opened a school in Conway, SC in February of 1993 and also started teaching karate as his full time profession in 1993. He is currently a 9th Degree Blackbelt. Terry was rated

number one in the world in 1994, 1996, and 2004 by NBL and SKI, along with many other State and Regional titles. Terry has opened a new dojo in Loris SC called Shogun of Loris where with his wife Erica they continue teaching karate.

  

​Superkicks of Conway is now being lead by Joe Spivey and family. Joe has trained with Terry since 1993. Under this leadership SuperKicks will continue to grow and expand while holding on to our roots in the way it has been been taught for over 36 years under Grand Master Terry Gore.
